Over the last ten years I have been working
with mixed mediums of art, painting bold and brightly coloured
canvases, influenced by my life changing trip to Asia. Merging
my love for photography and textiles I have used my knowledge
of colour and abstract art to develop my passion further,
focusing on digital and film photography. Following the
light which hits the subject and crafting my own photographic
concept. Viewing one image which holds beauty on its own,
then finding an image to compliment its existence and building
a stronger relationship between the two.
In recent years I have further expanded this unique collection,
with the images continuing to absorb the intense colour
surrounding everyday life in places such as Spain, France,
Italy and the UK. I find that the ability to capture these
missed moments in time is self-inspiring and I’m really
proud to see this reflected in the ever growing popularity
of my printed canvasses. I hope that through my joy of photography
and art I can show an exciting side to images that may normally
be seen in a serious light, whilst injecting a small amount
of my personality into my work and touching the soul of
the subject.
